Leo knocked out the #1 TBRB-ranked IBF champion and is fighting his inherited mandatory challenger in his next fight. He has not had a chance to unify, and it seems likely both Fulton and Espinoza are moving up to 130 anyway. Fulton is rumored to be getting a crack af O'Shaquie Foster for the WBC 130 strap and Espinoza has said that this upcoming title defense might be the last time he can make 126.

Nick Ball is the only real option for a unification and Inoue has already said he plans to fight Ball in December if he comes through the Cardenas and Akhmadaliev defenses unscathed.

Brian Mendoza would disagree about this!

Mendoza was being murderalized before he landed that shot. No one else has been able to do it. So what if he got knocked out once ? That size advantage is still very meaningful in every fight.
