Taylor is definitely a skilled boxer but his last three defeat were KO. HIRE ROACH!

actually i was thinking that the other day, one of the things that makes freddies fighters so well conditioned and able to work at a fast pace for 12 rounds is the quality sparring. roach insists on recruiting real hungry up and coming fighters, not C/D level club-fighters who see themselves as sparring partners.

JT has some of the tools that roach and more importantly ariza will be able to hone and finetune. he is athletic, quick, has very good fast hands and clearly has some talent.

as for kess he is the complete package. btw he has a much better chin than JT and better balance and footwork so i dont expect him to be there when AA is about to punch. AA has a chance if he goes to the body but if kess is smart and uses his reach and feet he should win against AA.

Kessler has what it takes to beat Abraham. He doesn't slow down, but picks up the pace through out the fight. He has a much higher workrate, a solid accurate right hand, a solid chin.
After one of Abrahams bursts, he takes a round of to gain energy for his next attack. Kessler would use that to his advantage, and his straight right is perfect for countering Abrahams wide punches.

Who has Kessler fought to actually make the comparison?? JT has a body of work against a murderers row for the last 4 years. Kessler is still question marks. He gained all of his fame in losing to JC. I'm not saying that Taylor's chin is better than Kessler's. However kessler has not gotten caught flush by the punchers that JT has. i'd like to see Kessler in with Abraham, Froch and Pavlik before I can make that claim.
