canelo's days of knocking mofos out is over.... i dont think it has much to do with the mexican cows. he wasnt fighting 147 fighters anymore. that's why his ko ratio dropped.

He couldn't stop a guy from 154, or a domestic fighter like Ryder who got clobbered by Munguia. Berlanga was the only guy who started in 168 that he's fought recently, and Berlanga got dropped by and couldn't finish Coceres, who couldn't even last 1 round with Osley Iglesias.

However, remember that Canelo knocked out Rocky Fielding at 168, Kovalev at 175, Yildirim, Saunders, and Plant while punching the bicep off Smith at 168. He was still knocking guys out across the divisions until the end of 2021. So your theory is very much not supported by evidence.

In contrast, Alvarez tested positive for clenbuterol in the middle of these KOs after the first Golovkin fight, followed by multiple champions from the Reynoso gym, the last of which happening in, you guessed it, late 2021, coinciding with the apparently permanent end of Canelo's knockouts. It's at least a little suggestive, where the notion that he can only knockout guys from 147 is flatly false per the evidence.

It's hard, but if bud loses, no big deal he was supposed to lose. The reward is higher than risk

the bolded, yeah because those guys arent naturally 147.

and for canelo knocking out rocky, kov, etc.. those were tko ref stoppage, it wasnt amir khan type ko. and the ko of kov is mostly due to kov not being the same fighter. if you look at canelo's resume, he hasnt had a legit ko since khan and that's back in 2016.

Canelo is Bivol type guy, he prefers going distance.

That's very much not accurate. He broke Saunders orbital with one punch. Kovalev may have been shot but he was still a 175 champion who was #5 ranked going into the fight, and Canelo went up from 160 to knock him out. This second guessing after the fact is always dumb. Frankly, you didn't watch the fights if you think those weren't legit stoppages. And if you take out TKO finishes, most fighters wouldn't have any KOs. Artur Beterbiev would have zero, for instance. That's a ridiculous take.

but canelo got popped for mexican beef after the 1st GGG fight. those names you mentioned came after the first GGG fight. so canelo was off the mexican beef by then.
