I tend to agree. Watching Kambosos fight Teo I was thinking "styles make fights" and George just had the right style for Teo. He had the right combination of punches that somehow Teo could not get away from and could not defend. Now, I don't know what to think. Maybe Teo's stories of a serious illness are not just an excuse. Maybe there is some serious merit to it and we all just did not really believe it.

There is just no way he will beat Hitchins. Not even close. He will look even worst than he did against Haney.

I believe Yordan would have beaten him had he not pulled out.

You could insert Anthony Joshuas name here.

George dies without even drawing a single drop of Katsidis' exhibitionist blood.

I am surprised Teofimo Lopez has never pursued a rematch against George Kambosos Junior 'The loss at the time was highly influenced in my opinion, by Lopez really struggling to make the weight. It was clear that during the fight, George Kambosos Junior was just the better conditioned fighter'.

When a fighter is in optimal condition, this not only affects their athletic performance 'But also their ability to strategize and anticipate moves during the fight action. As the fight between Lopez and Kambosos Junior developed, the action produced from Lopez was rudimentary and very ineffective'.

Teofimo Lopez needs to be involved in a meaningful and significant fight for him 'A contest which has a theme. I honestly think Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos Junior II is a solid fight to make for both fighters. It would of been more ideal if that fight was happening in New York City, Time Square on May 2nd 2025'.

I understand that the rematch between Lopez and Kambosos Junior is not a mega fight 'But it is a more significant fight for Teofimo Lopez than his next opponent Arnold Barboza Junior. It is those type of fights which build intrigue in a fighters career, avenging a loss is one of the greatest challenges any fighter can overcome inside the boxing ring in my opinion'

You never know? Maybe George Kambosos Junior stylistically may just always be a difficult fight for Lopez Junior 'Skill for skill Kambosos Junior actually appeared to be the superior boxer skill for skill, at least on that night way back on November 21 st 2021'.

Note: In other threads I have referred to certain boxing performances as a fighters 'Any Given Saturday'. In reference to the NFL movie 'Any Given Sunday: 1999'. In my opinion fights such as Daniel Dubois vs Anthony Joshua, and George Kambosos Junior vs Teofimo Lopez are those type of contests. They are fights were a multitude of factors and statistically anomalies occurred to increase the likely-hood of one fighter winning'.

Why those factors and statistically anomalies occur may not actually be just by chance 'Because if you track any fighters career, at some point? Many fighters if they dedicate to the sport with extreme passion and work ethic, they will then be presented a opportunity. That fighter must then have the awareness to detect this opportunity and grasp it with every single metric of their power'.

To conclude: To their credit that is the feat which both Daniel Dubois and George Kambosos Junior 'Achieved vs Anthony Joshua and Teofimo Lopez'.

I think truly all-time great fighters and champions, are intuitively aware of those moments in the sport 'At times they can anticipate and suspect that their opponents may be presented with their Any Given Saturday. Champions must always be aware that, fighters raise their game in title fights. We have witness this many times before throughout boxing history, were fighters increase their game considerably. And on that particular fight night, they are operating at extremely high levels' etc.

Wow. Kambosos beats a late subsitute and he will get a world title shot. In division he has never done anything.

Yordan is long in the tooth and has some mileage but I was looking forward to this matchup because it wouldn't have surprised me in the least if the Indonesian fighter beat George.

I think Katsidis would have likely stopped him (and George is pretty durable). I just don't see Kambosos having the power or skill to keep Katsidis off of him. In his somewhat brief prime, Katsidis was very good at bringing the violence. Still remember looking forward to his fights on HBO.
