I like Turki Alalshikh. I believe he is sincere, has a good heart and has a genuine concern for the sport of boxing and the boxers; Especially their overall well-being. I wish that I can say the same thing about Dana White though but I can't.

Personally, I think he has a great business acumen. For example: He has generated a lot of money for the UFC. He has put on some of the greatest matchups and cards in UFC history and has turned the UFC into a Billion dollar industry.

However and at the same time. I still don't trust that he will do right by his fighters. There has been a history of horror stories by current and former UFC fighters who have all claimed they have been fleeced by Dana White.

LIV is a perfect example, eventually, they had to play in the US, they didn't have a choice.
Bingo! Those are the same sentiments I have about this alliance with TKO and Turki.

Turki bout Ring Magazine for a reason. He owns the Ring Belt. That is going to be the selling point on his fights. You want money, fight for this Ring Belt! Watch

ANOTHER belt, in a ANOTHER promotion that doesn't want to play with others.

          Breaking the system more.

Does anyone remember that? Here we go again
Clearly this is different as proved by all the Riyadh cards so far. Saudi budget is way more than DAZN had. The network and promoter rivalry is also not an issue anymore due to Saudi cheques. Your saying he we go again as if Saudi have not seen what has happened all ready a lot of these fights so far made by Turki would not have even happened otherwise. Although i think Turki will still need the promoters like Eddie Frank Oscar, my point is about with Saudi cheques most fighters when offered will fight on their cards that has all ready been proven. Now they have Teo Haney Garcia on one card Canelo on another and Inoue on another all within 3 days.

LMAO at Alvarez Scull. Alvarez out here fighting tomatoe cans while the best around him are fighting each other. He's done.

Yes, that fight belongs in Japan. Not sure if that fight being in Riyadh is going to fly well. They won't need it to happen there bc those two will make historical money fighting each other in Japan.

Who else does Canelo need to fight right now? Canelo has basically cleaned out 168 with the exception of Benavidez. That's the only fight he's missing. Pacheco and Mbilli are still on the rise, but not ready yet as they need more scalps on their belts.

Ryder, no. 1 contender, Munguia, no. 1 contender, Berlanga, no 1 contender. Only for Canelo would these guys be considered "scrubs."

While it seems like Canelo hasn't exactly been testing himself since losing to Bivol, it's an overstatement to say he's fighting scrubs. The only guy that is out there that you can say he's avoiding for whatever reason is Benavidez.

Turki is not being honest here. He is trying to "fix boxing" by introducing a fifth belt and a completely new league? Does not make sense. That is not fixing anything, only adding more complexity and more confusion - unless this is a necessary first step (necessary evil) towards cleaning it up and deleting the four belts and existing promoters. Surely his agenda is obvious for all to see but he does not want everybody to get upset straight away. promoters can see which way the wind is blowing and have started freaking out already. They are not stuuppid and can see their livelihoods are being threatened.

It’s a known fact. For the exception of your “Excellency”; Who is a very sincere and honest boxing fan who truly cares about the fighters well-being.

That TKO and especially Dana White has had a very long history of shortchanging and fleecing their fighters. The promoters are supposed to work for the fighters.

Not the fighters working for the promoters. Unless they change their business model; Which helped parlayed the UFC into a multi-billionaire dollar industry.

This brand new business venture will not work and is destined to fail.

On average; Today’s full-time boxers are paid a lot more than at anytime in the sport’s history.

Long gone are the days where fighters had to assume the greatest risks outside of the ring. Just so they can earn their largest purses/prizes inside of it.

It’s also the reason why many of them choose to remain so inactive by fighting only once a year or even longer. It’s because they earn so much money now to the point where they no longer have to.

Moreover, it’s also the reason why so many of them avoid the stiffest challenges or take on any risks outside of the ring because they don’t have to either.

They know that they are going to earn millions of dollars no matter who they fight inside the ring today anyhow.
