    Forecast How Alvarez-Benavidez Would Go

    Amazing displays of inside fighting.

Fight 1 in 2026 Alvarez one last great performance where he 7-5’s Benavidez.

Tight enough to warrant a rematch where Benavidez wins by 7-5.

Big Saudi Turki loves trilogies and will shell out for a rubber match that Bena wins wide by 9-3

Waste of time talking about it now. To sum it up, it would be a beat down, with Benavidez just drowning Canelo and possibly late stoppage.

You must not understand his personality. People like him only care about perception. The perception that he's rich, great at boxing, etc...he knows the reality though and thats why he won't take the fight, because it would shatter peoples perception of him when he's bounced all over the ring.

Floyd was the same way. Claiming he's the greatest, claiming he only cares about money but yet we saw him avoid thr toughest fights that would have proven his claims of greatness, we saw him constantly turn down the fights that would have netted him the most money.

You can see the same personality type in a certain mango mussolini who claims how great he is yet the reality is very different and yet he will never stop trying to convince you otherwise.

I think it would be an action packed fight with both men landing heavy shots and David possibly hitting the canvas once, but David coming out ahead on the score cards. David is younger and throws too many punches for Canelo to dominate like he has done on his last few fights. If the fight would have taken place a couple of years back I would slightly favor Canelo, but not nowadays....

Think he was already a big threat to Canelo when he was fighting Smtih, Saunders and Plant. Think he win more decidedly now (9-3) as he gotten more experienced under his belt while Canelo is diminishing more and more per fight.

DB is a more complete fighter and physically bigger than Jacobs and Munguia, who are high output fighters that have caught and outworked Alvarez until he made the adjustments necessary to win in competitive fashion. Can't say David has that punching power that can end the fight, but he can certainly stun him when he puts weight behind his punches, he also has one of the highest punch accuracy statics in the sport along with his handspeed and reach.
