Brock Jarvis is not a good measuring stick for us to know what Thurman has got left after 3 years out of the ring. Tszyu vs Thurman could give us a better idea of where both of them are at right now.

His opponent after that will be a prime and young junior middle weight. (He wont be fighting TC)
That means Jarvis is a natural Jr. Welterweight because that's what Paro is. Why is he fighting at 154 less than two years later?
He dried out pretty bad to make the weight, so maybe his team felt he would be stronger at 154. Also throw in Thurman isn't a natural 154 pound fighter and the layoff and the risk was worth the reward boxing wise.
