Spence said he would never offer a title match to Thurman.

Since he doesn't have a title, why don't we get a match between Spence and Thurman to determine rank?

How this fight was even conceived is wild.

Before folks go nuts, remember Jarvis was already blasted out in 1rd by Liam Paro... He was the perfect comeback opponent for Thurman. Perhaps the 3rds it took was mostly ring rust, but yeah, nothing to go nuts over yet. If he could beat the likes of Tim Tszyu, then I'd recognize Thurman as legit because I don't think Tszyu is easy, even in beating him.

Gotta agree with everything you said El Paco. Wanted to add that Jarvis turned pro at 115# and was way out of his natural weight class with building up muscle in excess. Probably needs to fight at 130# to have a shot to do anything and don’t think he can get down 14 pounds to compete.

Good fight but I'm not sure Spence ever fights again.

Fighters are so under appreciated lol. All u ever hear is, "he's a bum", "he got exposed", "he fought a nobody", "he's over rated", "he's got a glass chin", etc.
Meanwhile, some of these expert critics have so much belly hanging over their pants, when they look down, they can't even see their di..ks.
Name me one fighter who a critic never has something negative to say anything about...

I honestly didn't think Thurman was going to come back at all. Hopefully he stays in the gym and the ring (and off social media would be great too). If it's just going to be more antics though, I'm not sure why anyone should care.

Holy **** you're right. I didn't know that – 5'9" at 115lbs is crazy. He was the Tommy Hearns of super flyweight – no wonder he was getting a lot of knockouts.
