Teofimo was once the hot ticket but now we are wondering. He should learn from guys like Pacquiao, Bivol, Crawford etc. who do their fighting in the ring but are not big clowns in public.

There is no comparison between US fans and UK fans. Just watch a soccer game between any top tier team and hear the songs written and sang for individual players (Liverpool comes to mind), watch how fans will rent upto 500 buses and travel across England to Turkey in support of their beloved teams.

We are NEVER going to do that in the US.

I’ve got Barboza winning this fight by way of boring decision. Teo has proven he can’t hit above 140 and Arnold never takes any risks inside of the ring. He is too safety first and cautious.

I just thought it was hilarious at the end of the slap and Barboza is going nuts, you had this giant bouncer/security dude lift up Barboza and carried him out like he was nothing.

For the fight itself, I had zero interest until the **** talk from Barboza. It looks like he's fired up for it, though I'm not sure otherwise how the fight is going to turn out. He'll probably be somewhat similar of how George Kamboso Jr. won if he can get the W. In that, he gets a flash knockdown, then boxes the rest of the fight and might even go down himself.

The overall card is worth watching, but I don't see just any 1 fight that is really like Main Event worthy if I had to put one at the top and say, this is it.

Barboza made a mistake. He handled the press comference wrong in my opinion. What he should have done, is once Teo started trash talking and babbling about absolutely nothing, he should have realized Teo is a man who is emotional and has a lot of feminine energy, a man who wears makeup, a man who is starving for attention and is very insecure with his manhood, especially after his wife left him for a black man in order to get some anaconda in her life. Barboza should have stayed completely silent until the face off, and then instead of knocking Teo's hat off his head, he should have without any warning whatsoever, slapped Teo so hard that it left a hand print across his face. That's how you deal with a feminine insecure man who wears makeup and talks too much

Barboza is trying to get inside Teo's head like Kambosos did which obviously backfired this time but could well pay dividends on fight night. We shall see!

I saw that, and nothing in it changes my opinion. Two points out of the gate for Teo. Only 1 point for hometown, there are Mexicans in NY and 1 point for being the champion. I think Barboza can do it. He doesn't hit hard but 140 Teo doesn't hit as hard as 136 Teo.
