  • The Dwarf skates by again... Proving he was correct when he told Roach "you ain't gonna get the win no matter."

Lets all give a big one ups on the skill of the dwarf. He has found a way to get gift decisions, not fight any real competition with the help of a boxing media that is there to hype up various opponents... Opponents that are often brought into the ring after having fought at lower weight classes, drained to the point of exhaustion, and even when the dwarf loses to a fighter like Cruz, or Roach, the crooked alphabet soup and judges step up for the dwarf.

I say lets apply the lineal here! Did the Dwarf beat the best? Hardly... Meaning that to fans everywhere this guy should not be considered a champion. I consider the Messican at the state fair, that took Devin's best pop, more of a champ!

    Are you outraged?

        TBud could carry black-American boxing

But he fights only one a year

if someone told me 5 years ago in the future your favorite boxer won’t be an American I’d be in disbelief

this crop of Americans are Broner 2.0 they rather be celebrities than champions

If you look at the history of boxing, some things have changed considerably: The way men fought post Dempsey, the rules, etc. But the one constant seems to be how vulnerable boxers are to the role models that shape them. The Floyd/Jones era has been characterized by fighting carefully, trying to set a stage where the chance of loss is minimized and challenges are few and far between.

The promoters encourage this, more money to had by having the champ fight exhibitions, as they were called in the old days... professional opponents with no chance of winning. Floyd had an opportunity to face pac at a time when a win would have guaranteed an incredible legacy, but he waited it out... Davis came up under the same attitudes. It sucks for legacy and boxing.

Floyd took many risks before 30 to become the man

and started making demands upon becoming the man

these current celeb champs don’t draw 1 mil PPV like Floyd did

Gervonta Ryan Devin don’t have Floyd’s charisma and talent

True but Floyd also had an attitude about risk that sort of destroyed Tank. Tank, unlike Floyd did not do the other things Floyd did that made him great, only the things that may have made even Floyd's legacy less than it could have been.
