Is Kovalev a HOF’er? I’d probably lean towards yes tbh.

If Paz and Gatti are in the Hall of fame why wouldn't the krusher be ?

The entertainment value of their career’s have to be accounted for too. That’s why I think they should induct fights. I think UFC do that in their HOF.

Andre ward not only ruined this guys career but he ruined his life as well, kovalev really took that first loss badly I wish he would have used what he thought and what many others thought was injustice to train harder and **** ward up in the rematch, unfortunately he chose the bottle instead.

I watched him live destroy Nathan cleverly and I enjoyed his career up till the first ward fight, I wish him well in his post fight life.

Kovalev was drinking since before he started boxing and throughout his pro career since day 1. So it's not so much that the Ward loss drove Kovalev to the bottle, instead the loss wasn't convincing enough to make him change his ways and stop drinking. He just continued indulging in an old addiction.

Yes, I think losing the decision in the first fight to Andre Ward really affected him.

He was never the same after that.

Kovalev was a monster in his prime just unstoppable that first decision loss to Ward was bs and that second fight was just off. Every fighter gets old it was fun to watch him at his peak.

                  Kovi was always a douchebag
People blaming the Ward fight are just making excuses for someone who was known to be an arsehole in boxing circles
Just ask anybody in the game about him and try not to be surprised by their response

Absolute animal in his prime, even tho he wasn't living the life outside the ring he still had so much talent and monstrous punching power to wreck everybody he faced at his best. Imagine if he would of stayed disciplined outside the ring he could of done so much more more..
