Very disappointing opponent. I was hoping for another unification, or at least a ranked contender. Jerusalem rematch, Taduran, one of the Shigeoka brothers, Mendez, Katsuyama, etc.

I agree completely. Cano has done absolutely nothing to earn a shot at the world title. Collazo will steamroll him easily.

Being fair with Jerusalem fighting Yudai this month and Ginjiro set for Taduran rematch in May, Collazo didn't have many choices.

By fighting in between the two other world title fights it keeps him on schedule to make an unification again so I guess it isn't the worst stay-busy fight.

What about Winwood, Takayama, Mendez, Kuse, Dumastov, Zhu, Takada? It's a pretty deep division and I've never heard of this Cano kid. 8 of his 13 wins are against fighters who were either debuting or had a losing record, as well as his technical draw with a 5-10 fighter. He's 5-2 with a KO loss against fighters with a winning record.
