You’re still avoiding the point I made. Dan gets it.

It’s absurd to use the same, “He didn’t fight anyone criticism “ with all undefeated boxers of one group when their resumes are completely different.

There is no way Tank, Floyd, Roy, Crawford etc resumes should warrant the same criticism just because they haven’t lost and people want to see them lose.

You keep talking about Individual criticisms that I have said I have no issue with.

when it becomes obvious a fighter who has accrued a lot of power and influence in boxing is ducking all the top fights then yes people want to see them lose for 2 reasons: ducking turns people off and if they do lose it could possibly free up more slots and more money for fighters who do want to take good fights. it became pretty obvious after a year or 2 tank was not that guy...pal. its now been almost 7 and a half years and his resume is full of teeny tiny men moving up, a couple rehydration farces, and a couple mid level opponents.

I think you get it more than you admit, which is why you keep pivoting to individual criticisms and not the point I made like Dan did.

You co-signed what Dan posted on which tells me you understand clearly. You ain’t an idiot.

Come on dude. Stop it. That is literally what every Floyd hater has always said going back to when we joined the site. There is no way in hell Floyd and Tank resumes should garner the same criticism.

See what I mean. Crawford’s resume is much better than that. But posters judge his opponents on their career after losing to Crawford when it should be just what they did up to the point they fought Crawford.

hhhhmmmm u would want to be some nutcase to place both of them anywhere near each other!! the only thing they have in common is they both have their undefeated RECORD

the guys who i mentioned like loma and ggg lost theirs but if the DIDNT they would be getting the same crap as they got when they were undefeated and in loma case going great getting lots of hype !!! that brings attention and criticism just on its own!! when u lose your 0 things change in fans eyes for all boxers

But your analogy doesn't make sense what so ever because when people say it about Tank it's justified.

Plus in all honesty, nobody was saying Ray Leonard had "fought no one" when he fought Duran the first time.

Davis has had 7 fights at 135lb: Gamboa, Cruz, Rolly, H.Garcia, R.Garcia, Martin, and Roach. His LW campaign has left something to be desired, to put it mildly. THAT's why fans are turning on him. Being a PPV star comes with a certain amount of criticism and expectation.

The Ryan Garcia fight was at a catchweight over the lightweight limit.

I forgot that the WBA title wasn't on the line for that one. Ryan had also fought Tagoe and Fortuna above 135.

Davis' best opponents at 135lb are maybe Cruz and Martin. Out of 6 fights, he clearly struggled vs. Cruz and Roach. He took 12 rounds to stop an injured shop-worn Gamboa.
