I feel for Donovan, I really do, and I think overall he completely dominated that fight, but... That KD/KO/Whatever was way, way after the bell.

dont understand the controversy around that DQ the punch was super late and he hurt his opponent bad. what else of a choice did the referee had? it was his own fault as a fighter you need to controll yourself

That happens in every fight a shot after the bell
And honestly it wasn’t five seconds after
Ffs , they beat the record for being the loudest crowd ever in that arena
I could understand had it happened a few seconds after the bell but honestly hmmmmmm
Let’s just say the ref lost control of the fight from the early stages

What a way to turn a fantastic performance into a bucket full of shlt. Donovan has only himself to blame though. He threw and landed two punches clearly after the bell. He thought that he'd get away with it and now he's mad that he didn't. He's right to be angry , but only at himself. I was rooting for him too. What a shame that he threw away what should have been the best night of his career so far.

C’mon brother , that chit happens in every fight
I would totally agree if it was five seconds later but not like that

Do you think that he didn't hear the bell ? Everyone else in the ring heard it. To me the punches were thrown after he had time to recognize that the bell had rung and decided to throw them anyway.

I can’t answer that for sure but what I can tell you is the crowd broke the record for being the loudest ever in that building

I am on the fence with this situation. I definitely think he heard the bell and he threw two punches. The ref should had been there for the break. Let's be honest. He was greedy for the KO and took a gamble. If I was the ref would I DQ him ? Idk. I would probably take a point but the man was on the canvas after the punch. That's not a good look.
