Well, for a long time there's been this 'incompetent or corrupt?' argument about officials and I think this looked very shady. Reminded me of when I saw Ismael Barroso handing Rolly Romero his arse on a plate, coming forward, hitting Rolly at will with anything he wanted and the ref jumped in and stopped the fight and I was all "yeah, justice has come to town!". Only thing was the ref actually gave the fight to Romero, who was pushing out flicks and running backwards so fast, you would be forgiven for thinking he had a taxi waiting outside. There are times when you have to say "the officials aren't just being daft, someone is getting a reward for this". I think we should have an international fight police, who can swoop in, arrest dodgy judges and referees, beat confessions out of them in a dark cellar and then follow the money before shooting Mayweather, Arum and Hearn. What do you mean I'm going too far now?

Even if you took the knee voluntarily after getting hit it's supposed to be ruled a knock down and you cannot take a time out without the ref calling it! Also, it looked like the punch was a delayed reaction! Davis had to take a knee due to the blow! Should have been scored a 10-8 round!

I've seen it all now. Boxing , so great and so terrible. Steve Willis made my eyes bug out like his. I get it that Tank had something in his eye, I also get it that Lamont had just cracked him and was advancing to throw another punch when he took that knee. That's a knockdown , period. Tank should have told the Ref what was up and let him call time. In all of the years of being a boxing fanatic I've seen a lot of things that had me shaking my head. This one goes straight to the front of the line .
