How in any way, can you tell me that someone who fought extremely scared early in the fight, complaining to the referee every time Froch would get close

Dirrell wasn't landing anything either. You cannot come to someone's home town and run, plain and simple. It just doesn't look good for you. My point is that Froch was coming forward and was winning most of the early rounds based on that alone. What i do agree with, is that Dirrell did come on strong late ( which suprised me).

Workrate doesn't always mean you were better. Hell, Jermain Taylor outhussled Abraham if that counted for something before the KO.

I disagree Taylor was not outhustling Abraham. He was sticking a weak jab out there. But, barely was throwing the right.

Clean, effective punching is what boxing is based on. NOT JUST WORKRATE.

The key word there is EFFECTIVE. This is not amateur boxing. You can not score a pro fight like if its amateur. Pitty pat punches even though it might land is not EFFECTIVE in the pro ranks. Leave that **** in the amateurs. Dirrell did not land anything EFFECTIVE until the 2nd half of the fight.

the issue i have is Dirrell did a much better job here than the Curtis Stevens fight in which he ran and still won.
Here in the Crotch fight he kept Crotch away, his back off the ropes, countered almost everything and even staggered him at two points.
I saw a Crotch that struggled and kept looking for one punch and at the end had the nerve to say dirrell was not a man because he didn't want to get punched.
I cannot in good faith give Crotch more than one or two rounds.

And dont forget Gus Johnson talking about Dirrell only arriving 6 days before the fight. He said "He really should have gotten here sometime between 21 days and 3 weeks"
