but the argument for morrell hype was ignore the pro record , look at the overall experience . well, scull has more of it than morrell. and we can say now that obviously morrell was learning on the job even in benavifez.

plus even david morrell himself is liking scull's chances, i saw a news article about that/ this fight could get interested
Watch the Shishkin vs Scull fight for yourself. Score the fight for yourself and then tell me with a straight face that Scull deserved to win. I dare you.

but this guys were all giddy for cuban school morrell,, all scoundrels

He isn't close to Morrells level and is known from getting a gift in his last fight. He's not a southpaw either.

Morrell is far more talented, bigger, a southpaw, beat much better fighters in the pros (not counting Shishkin as it was a gift) and wasn't dropping rounds and looking a$$ in the process, Morrell can also punch.

Also where do people keep getting this amateur information from? It seems hugely exaggerated and is being pedalled to try and justify this awful fight.
So Scull supposedly had 400 amateur fights in the Cuban system yet nowhere has any video or record of well any of them? And he never won anything?
      Doesn't seem right to me.

What did you say when Manny decided to fight Jeff Horn? And I don't condone Canelo Im just interested in your consistency.

At least Jeff Horn had a win over Randall Bailey (Bailey had lost his IBF welterweight title to Devon Alexander, then won 3 fights in a row, then lost to Horn). Scull has zero quality wins, just a robbery over a Euro level guy.

Bailey was shot to sht cashing out his last fight in Australia he was paid to come and lose, my point is how did such a novice become a Manny Pac opponent and how come the same people bashing Canelo didnt say a thing about Horn, go and look at Horns resume up until Manny and look at his opponents resume , it was all BS. The wins you talk about with Bailey, had 30 losses. It's funny you didn't mention that, and the Devon fight was 3 years earlier.
