And Wilders main role in the Fury trilogy was getting his ass kicked. He didnt win a single fight, got stopped in two of them and was arguably gifted a DRAW in the one he went the distance in.
He almost knocked him out 4x.

    Who else can say that?

Klitschko didn't knock down Fury once.
Whyte didn't knock down Fury once
Usyk only knocked Fury down once.

    Wilder did it 4x.

If Fury wasn't at his absolute best, he would've been dust.

He left an indelible mark on the division's best fighter (until Usyk emerged).

Prime Fury's a Hall of Fame fighter, who bordered on being an all-time great at his best.

Wilder pushed a Hall of Famer & to his limit.

Again, Usyk said the OLD Fury was the best fighter he ever fought.

Younger Fury might have come away with a victory away from him.

When Kayabel pushes a HOF to his limit, then I'll reconsider.

Wilder had great knockout power but limited skillset. He was overrated because of Fury claiming that they were the two best heavyweights fighting each other. A lot of people bought into Fury's bs, which resulted in not just Wilder, but also Fury being grossly overrated. In reality they were probably more like number 4 and 8 in the division, instead of 1 and 2 as Fury convinced his easily misled fans to believe.

Kayabel will be lucky to be champion for 5 years, defend the belt 10 times, & be part of one of the greatest trilogies in boxing history.

Y'all clown Fury, but Usyk said the OLD Fury was the best fighter he fought. Better than Joshua, Dubois, Chisora, or Gassiev.

Kayabel hasn't fought Usyk yet & until he performs better against him than Fury did, Fury's still the guy who pushed Usyk the most.

You guys are just incapable about being objective about Wilder or Fury.
Belts and how many times you defend them, how many you have, do you have any at all means far less in boxing than who you beat and how good were they when you beat them.

fury was at his worst in the first fight and he still clearly won that fight so i dont know what you are talking about? 2nd and 3rd fights were all fury cept for the knockdown which happens a lot to fury. and fury was literally on the best run of his career when he fought usyk now hes old? he just beat wilder, whyte, and chisora. fury has always been a guy that looks dreadful in some fights: think mcdermmot, think cunningham, think wallin, think ngannou. hes not old then young then old then young. hes just that type of fighter

I especially think in the third fight Fury got ridiculously overconfident, thought wilder was nothing and that he'd effortlessly run through him again. He turned up looking physically in pretty average shape and ended up getting caught and put down.

You are right though Fury is a terribly undisciplined fighter and his variation in quality of performances is crazy

I'm willing to bet that If Wilder had fought Joshua at any point in their careers; Wilder would have knocked Joshua out cold. And threads such as this would not exist.

Alas; Wilder and Fury were the only two longstanding champions who stepped up to oppose another longstanding champion; while Joshua was left out in the cold.

                  That's somewhat true.

Let me know, when Kayabel goes to war with a guy who's moonwalking into the Hall of Fame 3x

                    "Best career run"

The fight with Usyk had to be rescheduled because Fury had almost lost a fight to a guy who'd never boxed before

I don’t think it’s fair to compare the Usyk and Wilder fights against Fury. Wilder is a beast too at 6 foot 7. Usyk had come up from unifying Cruiserweight to hang with the giant heavyweight era. Usyk beating Fury is a more impressive win than if Wilder managed to (Wilder was also seen as the favourite by most in the lead up to the first fight).
