    I doubt that very much

Beterbiev said he did not want the second fight but did it anyway. At the end of their careers fighters will do almost anything to secure the future for their families.

Turki had three fingers up at the end of the fight so it probably does not matter what us chickens on this forum want. Turki will get what he pays for.
      Obviously he’s the boss

Imo it would only be fair to return the favour
        Done and be done
There is little fairness in boxing, no such thing as guaranteed 3 fights in a row with someone. Whats fair is giving Benavidez his title shot, something he has not been given for 6 years which is completely unfair.

That is his problem, shouldn't have been d1cking around in the AMs for so long. Bivol proved he is better, lets move on

I don't necessarily care to watch a third fight but I get why it makes sense.

The only issue is that there seems to lingering possibly very likely scenario where if Benavidez does not get the next shot at Bivol then he is not getting shot for at least a year and a half and will be pushed to the back of the line again and again.

Bivol fights Beterviev closer to the end of the year and should he win it just seems like other mandatory fights (with people no one really cares to see if we are being honest) along with Canelo are going to jump the line.

Whether a third fight will put much distance between them is debatable. But that's why fights are made.
While I'll agree that Bivol did well, he sure af didn't do THAT well. He backed up for most of the fight. The commentators talked about how Artur's face was marked up, but they made no mention of the blood pouring down the left side of Dmitri's face after the fight. If they do a rubber match, it should be in 6 months or so, not 4.
Damn Wicked Damn Wicked tokon tokon like this.

Because the cut happened near the very end of the fight. In round 12 around the final minute

Artur landed a nice right on Biv around his left eye that opened up the cut

Artur landed that about 3 times total in the fight

I expect him to try it more on Bivol in the trilogy

it’s his best chance at hurting Bivol if it could land just a bit lower around the chin

Beterbiev sooner or later is going to have time catch up to him too, although his stamina at 40 is seriously impressive.

Agreed on all especially Beterbiev’s stamina. I wonder how a mythical matchup between a 40 year old B-Hop and him would play out. I never liked B-Hop until so much later when I started respecting his longevity and him beating 20 year old guys. Hopkins dirty tactics and Beterbiev awkward style would be a match made in boxing heaven.

Bivol used his head a lot in fight 1

Artur wouls have fits against Bernard the master of dirty fighting
