I won't mind seeing him again.
It was just that it was always going to be a 100% Stevenson win, so getting motivated to watch that was tough. Whereas Adames vs Sheeraz people were split on who would win, and even after Adames won most rounds, I still felt Sheeraz would get the nod, so that interested me as well. The way judges give the A-side, and the fighter the promoter's want to win, rounds they clearly lose. Easy to rob a guy like Adames as not much will be made of it as to the casual fan, which fills a lot of the viewing audience, they will have no idea who he is. Nash out - His Most Majestic Majesty

It was a great looking card that was ruined by some last minute pull outs and a couple of poor performances.

Smith-Buatsi was fight of the night for me, entertaining fight that was competitive throughout with a clear winner in Smith.

I enjoyed Zhang-Kabayel and think some aren't giving Agit the respect he deserves for doing to Zhang what hasn't been done before. You could take away from the victory by saying that Zhnag got "old overnight" but the truth is, Agit took the fight to him and set a pace that Zhang simply couldn't keep up with. That, coupled with his sustained body attack was a perfectly executed gameplan and I respect Zhang for mustering enough energy to score a knockdown but he didn't have enough in the tank to make it count.

From this point on, things went downhill pretty quickly.

Madrimov was far too negative and respectful of Ortiz Jr, his movement wasn't that effective and drained him in the later rounds, forcing him to have to stand and trade later on which is where he was undone. Really disappointed in his negative approach until Sheeraz made Madrimov look like El Terrible by shelling up from about the 4th round and seemingly going into survival mode until the end of the fight for no obvious reason.

I've always thought Sheeraz is a weight bully because he seemingly has no punch resistance and it was confirmed last night with how terrified he was of getting hit. Embarassing performance from Sheeraz and they robbed Adames of his clear and one-sided victory over the "rising star of British boxing."

Respect to Padley for showing more balls and heart that both Madrimov and Sheeraz but the fight went as expected and to be fair, it's a lot easier showing heart against an opponent with zero power in Shakur.

Parker - Bakolie was a nothing fight. Never rated Bakolie, and under these circumstances he had even less of a chance. This fight was pointless and I don't want to be too harsh to Dubois in case he was actually ill but that was questionable as hell imo so **** him too.

The main event delivered what I expected; a decent technical fight. I edged it to Beterbiev because of that 3/4 round period where Beterbiev was bullying him around the ring and Bivol seemed to have no answer. He did eventually get himself back into the fight but I thought Beterbiev taking the 10th and 12th rounds was enough to win him the fight but it was very close like the first fight so a draw or Bivol win is fine. It's 1-1 so there should be a decider imo.

Overall, I was disappointed in "the best card in history" but it definitely had it's moments. All the light-heavyweights on the card delivered and saved it from being a complete let down.

Nice stew you got there, mate.

Don't forget what happened to Rigo, tho, and be careful for we need Your Majesty safe and sound.

A great fight that had some swings, though Smith was the clear victor.

Fight 2 - Zhilei Zhang vs Agit Kabayel - 5/10

Zhang got old overnight so the result does not count on official Nash records. Kabayel did what he did. A bit of a non-event.

Fight 3 Virgil Ortiz vs Israel Madrimov 5/10

Ortiz won a very boring fight, though that was mostly down to Madromov, who Nash would happily never see again.

Fight 4 - Carlos Adames vs Hamzah Sheeraz 6.5/10

Adames dominated and won at least 9 rounds, but the classic "we need to keep the overrated bums 0 in place" rule prevailed, resulting in a "draw".

Fight 5 - Shakur Stevenson vs Josh Padley - N/A

              Nash made some noodles.

Fight 6 - Joseph Parker vs Martin Bakole 6/10

No training, no publicity, no work, no effort, nothing. Just turn up, stand in a ring for 5 minutes, take a dive, pretend he couldn't stand, and leave with a bag of cash and tons of excuses naturally in place for the loss. Martin Bakole lost the fight, but won the night. Enjoy your money Bakole.

Fight 7 - Artur Beterbiev vs Dimitry Bivol 8/10

There was a point at around round 4-6 that Beterbiev looked like he was cruising to victory, then Bivol turned it around and deserved the nod. A good/almost great fight, but, for Nash, twice is enough. Dr. Dre once said something about 'making way for new names and faces'. It's time for them.
