The main main event was exceptional, with sweet science and brutality.

Overall, would you say this was the greatest boxing card in history, or actually not really, if you look at all the fights in terms of quality and excitement.

It was still pretty fantastic, to some extent.

Shakur vs International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union guy is bottom of the list; certainly not ahead of Ortiz vs Madrimov which was arguably the best fight of the night and no worse than 3rd best of the night.

I think the ref jumped the gun on that, he assumed Zhang was going down.

Ortiz' discipline keeping his shape was exemplary.
Yup I really thought that Ortiz would lose his chit in frustration but he didn’t and that is something that casuals or even people who have never practised any kind of violent sport have a hard time understanding
Very hard to keep cool in a ring

For me the fight of the night and the one outstanding performance was the Kabayel beat down and stoppage of Zhang. Simply unbelievable!! He stood in front of him going hammer and tongs with arguably the most dangerous puncher in the heavyweight division and he did it from round two, not in round seven like most observers expected him to do. Incredible courage, self belief, chin and stamina on full display.

Can't wait to see him against Usyk, Parker or Dubois because I don't know who can survive the full on body attack like that. I know Usyk would box him and try to keep him away with a 1,000 jabs in his face, but there is no discouraging Kabayel. He was willing to eat Zhang's flush punches to deliver his own so he is very difficult to discourage.

Why not be straight out and say that Adames was robbed? Are you afraid of the Turkey?

Stevenson getting praise for taking 9 rounds to knock out a domestic level who came in with 4 days notice. *sigh

He needed the work. He couldn't pass up the opportunity to box because of the inactivity. It's not his fault that folks are afraid to box him and keep bowing out of contractual agreements.

I'm not saying Stevenson should have passed, I'm just saying the article is baloney.
