Oh the irony of Catteral making a spoof video about himself being boring, airing it just before his fight against Barboza, and then putting everyone to sleep once again with his horrible and lacklustre performance. He'll never be champion. But he may one day become salesman of the year for a pillow company..

He can join Shakur in that. "These pillows are even softer than my fists. More guaranteed to put you to sleep than even one of my title fights".
Im not mad at the Cat, but he has to know he wore out his welcome. It's time to sink or swim, cut the apron strings, see the world. Get another Mexican to chase him around in Vegas. It's not playing well at home.
Like the majority I was expecting a Catterall win. However that was mostly based on the fact Barboza was in the UK. On that basis, and the fact Oscar Duarte was fighting Prograis the same day, I thought a Catterall v Duarte fight could be on the cards. Be good to see how Catterall fares away from the UK. Duarte would make Catterall work hard!
I had Barboza winning by three rounds, won clearly I thought.
The hometown edge was there, Cat couldn't take advantage. The ring was huge, it must have been 20 feet. It was so big, the in ring interviews were done with a fish eye lens.
This situation with the WBC is confusing me a bit. Dalton Smith holds the (un needed) Silver title & has just won a final eliminator which Fas$t £ddie Earn has promised to deliver, yet Barboza has won the mythical interm belt which I'm sure ODH will consider a final eliminator. Custodian Alberto Puello defends against Sandor Martin next Saturday. I know there's talk of a voluntary before a mandatory, but does anyone actually know who's in line to challenge the Puello/Martin winner or do we get another final eliminator between Smith & Barboza? "Oh my head hurts"!!.........................
