Well Duarte is available. Duarte recently moved up from 135 and Keyshawn is a big 135.

And you rate Duarte, who lost to Cryan, higher than Pitbull, who's also at 140, and has at least touched a title (even if the circumstances of that were basically a gimme, I grant)? Duarte is ranked #9 by the WBA and unranked by anyone else.

Sam Noakes (16-0 with 14 KOs) is the next highest ranked contender #3 by the WBO, by the way, and just fought in December. Since #2 Muratalla, who's ranked ahead of him, is fighting #4 Abdullaev for the interim IBF belt, he'd be a good option if #5 Isaac Cruz turns down the smoke.

In other news, Abdullah Mason will be taking on Giovanni Cabrera, who held the aforementioned Cruz to a SD. Should be a good step up for Mason.

K Davis is doing exceedingly well compared to Jaron Ennis. Davis got 14 fights and Ennis, 34 fights. They only have one year difference in age.

Jaron Boots hid himself in public view fighting cab drivers. Fans only took notice of him when he fought Lipinets, his first step up fight, if you want to call it that. And Lipinets was more known than Bootsy. And that's Ennis' 29th fight. In contrast, Davis' progress is being displayed and don't have to get to his 30th fight before fans become familiar with him.

Can't argue with anything there, aside from the rules about getting a shot as a WBO title holder. That only applies to the WBO Super champ, and Keyshawn hasn't met the criteria for that yet. But that would still be a good fight for both of those guys, and if Teo really was behind the racist gift, then there's some pre established beef to sell the fight. Maybe Teo can petition for the fight at 135 if he can still make weight.
