The criticisms are valid, but I can't remember Top Rank publicly criticizing one of their own fighters who was on his way up the way they have Anderson. It's 3 or 4 times now they've released something negative about him in the media.

Really strange - if you genuinely want him to improve, in the ring and out, these are not the kind of conversations to have in public.

Problem is his heart is not in it...as well all know he said this in an interview while walking his dog. The other disturbing thing is his emotional IQ is about as bad as his intellectual IQ. Maybe he should leave the sport for 2-3 years and mature a little and then see where his head is at. Who the hell let him come in so heavy? But his defence is non-existance. He was in trouble and almost stopped at the end. One of those cases where a loss did not help him come back better.

They may know something the rest of us don't and this is TR's way of applying some gentle pressure after a more private conversation hasn't worked.
Trampler is a veteran who is 75 years old and has worked with boxing talent his whole life.
Anderson is 25 and has difficulty keeping his head screwed on properly.
          Just a hunch.

Jared went against his promoter’s wishes and fought Bakole.

Now they are going to try to punish him for his insolence. Gotta set an example for the rest of the peasants in the Top Rank stable, can’t have them getting too uppity.

With that said…I don’t think his heart is in it.

I think he should take 2-3 years off and maybe be more mature as a person, he will still be really young by hvy standards and there will always be some market for a talented US hvy, considering there aren;t too many around these days. Still, he just doesnt like boxing very much.

Daniel Dubois came back, but he really likes the sport.
