You are correct! I left out the “Ali” so all the NSB viewers would be surprised to learn about him during the broadcast.

Guerra is way too flat footed to be switching stance. And Walsh really isn't good enough to be getting the hype he does.

They should lean more into the broader family history at least, stop being so monotonous. Rahaman Ali, Laila Ali, Ibn Ali were all pro boxers, Biaggio Walsh and Kevin Casey (Nico's uncle) are pro MMA guys, even Nico's grandmother is a ninth degree karate black belt. Nico's career seems far more comparable to Rahaman and Ibn than Muhammad or Laila. So maybe talk to them about their careers and how they relate to Nico's current journey?

Nobody hypes Ali Walsh. Everyone knows he isn't good. But he's making an honest run of it, at least. He stayed in the fight with a dislocated shoulder and turned down the Jake Paul payday because he wants to fight. He's not going far in this sport but I respect that he's out there doing it. Can you blame him for ESPN trying to make a buck of his name?

They've been using him as a commentator... Yes, I blame them for hyping a guy at this level in his career and skill because of his name, having him commentate on real world titlists as if he knows enough to be critiquing them. FOH with that, ESPN.
