Kabayel has to survive 6 rounds, than big Chinese gases out as usual.

It will be interesting to see how Zhang reacts on body shots.

The most likely outcome...Kabayel by decision.

You have to get inside to land body shots and zhangs two losses are outside boxers ,one of which many believed he won

To work the body kabayel will have to be inside zhangs punching range for longer than he'd like to be with one hand not protecting his face to land the body shot

Ive got Zhang by stoppage as you dont walk down a puncher

If zhang losses it will be by kabayel outboxing him not hurting him

Agreed. You don't need to do body work to slow Zhang down. You just have to win at least one round of the first six while avoiding getting clipped. Then he gasses and you take over, body work or no. If only Zhang had cardio... And unlike Wilder, his power doesn't last 12.

              Hooded terror,
If we were to break down what Kabayel has to do to win this fight he would amount to something like, avoid the left hand, use a lot of movement, go to the body inside past the left when approaching, use the early rounds to simply break down.

Compare that to if Kabayel was fighting in the '70s against a puncher like shavers who was up on his toes for a good deal of the rounds, through all the punches, and had decent defensive skills. It just helps to get perspective to these things lol.

I guess it is a test for Kabayel, but if he's any good he shouldn't have many problems imo.

I would argue that Zhang needs extension for his shot. I would want to be close to him on his right side where his big punch is on the other side. I would just be very mindful coming in, and when inside I would stay to his right and tie him up if he tried to turn, even using my head against his chest to do so.

My own feeling is that Zhang is similar to Joyce in that both guys were able to capitalize on an inherently weak division but once they're gimmick is exposed it should not be difficult at all.

With Joyce? He simply cannot make defensive adjustments and does not have any defensive skills could start with so the way he was defeated was simply to pressure him and make him unable to come forwards with his arm punches which need accumulation to be effective anyway.

With Zhang He's essentially a one-armed fighter who has no endurance at all. You stay on his other side and you make him come towards you enough that he tires picking your spots. This should be an easy fight if this opponent is as good as people think he might be.

Zhang is going to be looking for those bodyshots after seeing Kabayel's last 2 fights. But I still think Kabayel gets them in, and if he's plays his cards right, like you said, he can get the body ko.

I like this fight more than most of the others.

Zhang is a lot of fun, but he's 41 and, frankly, an old 41.

Kabayel has the skills to beat him. Question is - does he have the chin?
