Lol fair enough but the OPPOSITE could also happen whereby guys who get multipliers right lead the pack pushing those who get more correct picks off the table altogether who then quit!
Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to accept it and use my multipliers wisely!
Haha, you are right - let's just say that this is the place where the separation occurs between the "No mas" and the "It ain't over until it's over" kind of souls
To be honest, I happen to think around the same lines. A couple of years ago I proposed the abolition of the multipliers, but the logic behind it - which is not wrong, after all - is to keep more players in the game. If you throw the multipliers away, those who start badly most probably leave the game, whereas a single well-placed jolly can inspire the person who got it right to persevere.
We're all big kids, aren't we?

Personally I think that the multiplier SKEWS results and Pick 'Em would be better off without them. Otherwise, somebody who gets one random multiplier right could lead somebody who has more correct picks over the same period of time!

There's no actual logic in the Pick Em League. One moment you're on top, a coupla months later you're looking at the others running away. A well-played multiplier makes a difference more often than not.
