It's certainly the best fight in the division, barring Bam v Chocolatito perhaps. IBF is vacant, and who knows what Cafu is going to do, coming off his split decision win over Kosei Tanaka.

Bam seems to want the big fights to challenge himself. The only way he can continue to do that is to move up. Martinez is not one of the best fights in boxing, not even close to it no matter what Eddie says.

Imo it would be a very entertaining fight and Puma will push Bam

Bam does get hit way to much for my taste and his kamikaze style , unfortunately , will come

If anything I'd prefer if they did it the other way around. Bam v Ioka, Martinez can try to make it past Choc. If he can, he'll have demonstrated he's at that level, and Bam can get another aging legend on his resume before he retires.
