They are saying he ducked because he clearly ducked. Benavidez was number 1 for more than 4 years and he made excuse after excuse not to fight him such as: I need 200 million or he has to beat plant(which he did) you are right you don't have to fight everyone but you have to fight the clear number 1 guy otherwise you are a ducker. Canelo fighting munguia, berlanga, ryder, charlo moving up 2 divisions instead of benavidez was cowardly. No one would care if he skipped those

Once he fights MJ in Saudi later this year, what are you gonna say then?

Not to mention he's already fought all the top guys in the division, except Goodman for obvious reasons, and MJ. Picasso, as much as I think it's BS, and MJ is both due in the mandatory rotation and a better win for the resume, is still the next highest ranked opponent that he hasn't beaten outside of MJ, and is actually higher ranked on some lists. But it doesn't sound like he'll be fighting MJ at all, in Saudi or otherwise. He wasn't included in the list of prospective opponents by Turki.

Ya. Two of the greatest fighters of the decade are just "ducking frauds". Are you sure you're not looking for the Pro Wrestling or MMGy board? Sounds like it.

Not Benny or Canelo are even close to being my favourites but I am man enough to recognize and see a duck for what it’s worth

Hmm, okay.. Thought that was the plan... I do not see anyone else at 122 worth fighting other than MJ (as long as Nakatani doesn't move up). MJ should have re-matched Tapales in the meantime to force Inoue's hand. Would have been a decent fight with so much attention currently at the weight class.

If it quacks, it's a duck

Yeah, I don't understand the choices he's made since that fight TBH. I think he beats Tapales fairly easily if he's healthy and in form. He looked not well when he lost that fight, and it was still a close fight when Tapales had his best night and MJ had his worst. I wouldn't mind watching MJ slaughter Casimero either. Someone needs to shut down that hype train for good.
