Jesus, all this incoherent writing over a comment just to try to make one point across.
Just say "No, you are the Schizophrenic" instead of writing all a whole essay of just nonsense.
If I made contradictions that's on me. But you seem to take it too personal. Whether you agree or disagree with my comment is fine, the aftermath in the future will prove me right or wrong which I am OK with whatever outcome.
Dang! Weak sauce, this. If the Saudi promoter is willing to pay Canelo's minimum for this type of fight, good for the face of boxing, but it just STINKS when Benavidez was mando for almost 2 years at SMW.
Keep in mind for starters there shouldn't be any waiting if Benny would've kept his discipline along with the belts, I know you're pretty analytical yourself, for every problem there is a root or a cause. And im not trying to justify canelo decision to avoid benavidez thats his decision not mine nor the fans, the truth is Benny shot himself in the foot twice and blow his chances of a canelo lotto ticket, maybe canelo decided to let him up his name and tske the fight when its financially bigger than b4 or maybe he just will never fight him but my point is Benavidez is not the only guy out there for Canelo in boxing, Canelo already a an accomplished made man and Benny nowhere near that status, if someone has to grind his way up its Benavidez not Canelo.
Im still waiting on your answer regarding a better 168 fight rn not including Canelo btw. Since you're claiming Canelo holding the division hostage.
That is one way to see it
y the way just to put things in perspective I picked Morrell to win vs Benny
Just wanna throw that out there
Mbilli for one , Pacheco fight would be intriguing somewhat
I would even enjoy Shishkin who is much much better than the guy who robbed him
Based on what? Those opponents weren't good but he is even less proven he was fighting 6 rounders in 2023 and 8 rounders in 2024
Just based on statistics, a well rounded bigger fighter should beat a smaller fighter that is similiarly skilled and against lesser proven fighters.
These aren't exactly fighters that are that great themselves, they are just catapulted to be tough fighters by their history with Canelo, specially Berlanga who has been knocked out by Lubin and dropped by Coceres:
-Ryder the gatekeeper who never won his biggest profile fights.
-Munguia who got timed by a frenchman with low knockout percentage.
-Berlanga who only stepped up against a aged Angulo and a declined Canelo, underperforming in terms of skill.
-Charlo who moved up two divisions after having two very competitive fights against the smaller Castano.
It just seems odd to me that these fighters would be the favorite against Scull, though I could be wrong if I get to rewatch his title shot fight. As for the rounds, good point and odd considering he had 23 pro fights, but the Cuban has yet to display stamina issues so far.
There’s already odds for this fight
On May 4, 2025, the odds for a fight between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and William Scull were -3000 for Alvarez and +1360 for Scull
Fughin competitive fight
Show your slips my fellow Canelo nuthuggers
Show me how much you really like your face of boxing
I know , not one of you gonna lay any coin on it cause you know , I know you know but that would prove my point

Well I hope you didn't lost $ on that one bro lol, its was evident pick man, Benny was the more seasoned, experienced guy with the mexican come forward style, Morrell like I said numerous time on this forum, is good...but not that good.
I saw Shishkin beating Scull I totally with u on that one. and I think the gingerboy would've fought him if he was in Scull position rn way, I also believe Turki is the one behind that pick for the first fight ,he wants the Crawford fight for all the marbles. Turki even admitted hes rooting for Bud to beat Canelo.

I’ve followed Morrell’s career and have some knowledge of him
His mindset and his demeanours in the fight were very weird and unexpected
First off not a great fan of Ronnie Shields but was counting on his Morrell’s attributes
The fact that he didn’t box him from the get go was his demise and from their on he needed the ko when in all reality he didn’t have to ride down that road
Anyway did you see what the odds are already for the Scull fight

DMJ fought weird and I def expected more from him given his extensive amateur background and all hype behind and things said about him pre fight, like instead of going guns blazing to try win the finals rounds he goes gunshy and fighting like he was still in the amateurs, at that moment i said to myself this dude still need lots of work like his resume always showed. And thats goes beyond Ronnie Shields imo.
I havent seen the odds yet, I bet they wide af huh? lol. Its expected
Just as Canelo would be a favorite against Benavides if they were to fight rn. Not as wide as with Scull but still a favorite pick.
