I would have made Benavidez part of the four fight deal for Canelo. However, from my understanding; Canelo is going to have to have prior approval for any fight under this new deal with your “Excellency” anyhow.

In the perfect world and scenario; Canelo should agree to cash out against Benavidez prior to the last fight with his deal with Turki and then retire. Whether he wins or loses.

He literally avoided benavidez who was #1 and picked the guys who weren't threats. That's the definition of cherry picking to artificially extend your career.
