First time I heard that sh it bro. Many religious people become atheists and, although it's much rarer, some atheists become religious. Much more likely that once you study the history of religions you can't really deny that religions are all man-made and often borrow stories from each other. Whether gods exist or not is something no one has ever proven or disproven. But it's because you can't disprove that the ruler of the universe is a giant crocodile named Jack.... In other words, anyone can invent these type of religious stories and they can't really be disproven, and of course they're never proven either.

As I said, I know all about it. Read, listened to, and believed what prominent atheists like Bertrand Russell, Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins had to say. I didn’t come to atheism easily, but by the Grace of God my return to Christ was far easier. I’m no apologist; the very thing that I scoffed at as an atheist is what brought me salvation — faith. And while most scientists may be atheists, a sizable number are not. You may be surprised to learn that the person who posited the Big Ba ng Theory was Georges Lemaître, a Roman Catholic priest. Anyway, confirmation bias cuts both ways. And although I agree your odds of becoming a believer are relatively narrow, I pray that you find Christ.

The Jesus character is actually a modified version of the older Krishna character from Hinduism. Krishna was invented around 1000 years before Christ. Even their names are similar for a reason. And the Krishna character was modified from older god characters. When you check out the history of religions, it's pretty fascinating to discover where the writers of the stories draw their influences from. For example, there's a Sumerian goddess called Inanna which they invented around 4000 years ago. She died for 3 days and 3 nights but was resurrected by her father, another god called Enki..

Punishing bigotry (of which, sadly, there’s too much of here) and overly hostile behavior is appreciated, but things have gotten absurd. I suppose that’s par for the course in this age we’re living.
