A new power at heavyweight? Maybe

A new power might be emerging at heavyweight.

Young Russian pro is scheduled to fight in February. His name is Alex Dornov. This square cut fighter is a hulk, but not fat.

He has sparred with Tyson Fury already.

So how good is he? Hard to say. He is skilled, quick, and can infight. He was an outstanding amauter.

He is the guy all the way to the right in the photo.

Here is his debut. Unless I miss my guess, he will be making some noise soon. It won't take long to watch.

He is based my me. My quick Scoting report:

He huge, has quick hands, is a good counter puncher. He is good in- fighter with a hurtful body attack and an upper cut. A rare combo among heavyweights.

There's a lot of talent coming up for heavyweights. Just make sure he's not on the juice. A lot of Russians take roids and why they're banned by a lot of major sport sanctioning bodies to compete.

Dornov clearly punches hard. KO loss as an amateur though, as well as a walkover loss. Makes me think he'd lose to the best of the best. Still looks like he could be quite a force for awhile at least. Certainly a prospect to watch. Makes me want to see Mark Petrovsky, the guy who got the KO over him.

                Lol what a terrible dive.

I'm not seeing it with this Alexei Doorknob fella at all, in fact all the current upcoming HW prospects look absolutely horrendous outside of Itauma

He beat very good completion in the amateurs, Much better than Itauma who is also in the photo I posted. Dornov is a talent. IMO he needs to forget the amateur game of tag, and dig his toes in and punch his weight.

Dude had a huge neck, a square jaw, a block head and legs which are huge, not fat. He will never be a good jabber as he lacks the body type.
