Not all fights are equal. Benavidez is a high risk low reward fight for Canelo. If he had a title Canelo wanted then maybe he takes the risk. He doesn’t. If he was a big draw and Canelo could make a big mega fight with him then maybe he takes the risk. He isn’t.

Canelo doesn’t need that fight or the risk at this point in his career. He is a made man and still the top draw in the sport. It’s why Crawford is likely up next. Turki is about to write that check for a $100 million which he doesn’t care to do for a Canelo/Benny fight.

(I'll prove it to you if you want.)

Either you say no or yes with proof of purchase.

Saying yes without proof is not counted. It's considered a lie, nothing more, nothing less.
I am getting it and having people over.

This is a strong card with a really good main. Of course I’d prefer to pay $49.99 for it but that is not realistic in today’s market.

Maybe with Turki pricing huge cards at 25 it will be more realistic. PBC is going to have to bend the knee sooner or later, I bet.

Again, Munguia, BerNALGAS, Mell Charlo were not big draws.....but to your point, they weren't risks either.

I don’t know if PBC will be forced to change their pricing. I just want to see solid cards like this.

realistically, where would an $80 seat be at a card like this? The cost isn’t that bad.

Real boxing fans SHOULD be buying this fight. Good card with the main event being a potential fight of the year. It's the 2nd best card this month and definitely better than anything thats offered in March or April for that matter.

True! I can't remember if Turki had anything to do with Joshua/Dubois, but that fight was $20 here in the US! If that was Eddie and Frank, then there's a better chance of the market shifting towards lower prices if Turki gets involved.

I'm not sure what else it takes for the price to shift, but this is a step in the right direction I feel.

They have to understand there are no Mayweathers or Pacquiaos in the sport right now, aside from Canelo Alvarez who can actually demand those prices.

So Joshua/Dubois was only $20 in the US, how many people bought that fight?

I'm not getting what you're saying here. Are you assuming cutting down PPV prices means people would buy?

I'll likely get the fight. I want to see Benavidez wipe the floor with Morrell. But as for showing the receipt as proof of purchase? Why, do we win a prize?

I watch boxing in my brother's house (only big fights). He rents movies on Prime as well, which is mostly the reason why I'm a familiar presence in his home. I bring some food and drinks in return.
