Garcia is lying. Vergil said no to a Crawford fight multiple times. He was Bud's WBO mandatory at 147 a few years ago. I love how these guys lie out of their azzes.

Of course, it was Team Ennis' fault why that fight isn't happening. Only to save face; Is why they decided to meet Team Ortiz at the bargaining table in the first place. However, make no mistake about it.

Team Ennis was never going to fight Vergil Ortiz because he is too high risk with very little reward. I am not saying that it was on Jaron. He is fighter. So he'll fight anyone.

Most likely it came from either his pops Bozy Ennis or Eddie Hearn who turned down that fight. My personal belief is that it was Bozy Ennis.

I don't think that he feels that his son is ready or has developed enough in order to defeat and eat punches from Vergil Ortiz at this current stage of his career.

However, I do pick Israil Madrimov to defeat Vergil Ortiz though and project that Jaron "Boots" Ennis will defeat Eimantas Stanionis.

A similar scenario played out iwyen people accused Gloyd of ducking Paul Williams who then got beat by a long forgotten Carlos Quintana. P Williams vs Floyd became moot.
