He’s gonna have a lot of trouble with stannois tho, I got stannois taking this. Watch bootsys fight with bakhtyar eyubov. That trashcan was landing on bootsy easily. Stannois is a big WW and he’s good. My bet is the hype train ends on April 12th
I get what you are saying but I disagree that he loses to Stanionis. He did duck both Vergil Ortiz and Teofimo Lopez though. He left millions of dollars on the table just to unify.

Who would you have as number two? The truth is that welterweight is a thin division right now. Brian Norman? Conor Benn? Sasaki? Barrios? I could see a case made for Norman being above Stanionis, but Stanionis did beat Butaev. Is Norman's win over Santillan better than that? Maestre is old but not a terrible fighter btw.

Welterweight is quite weak right now. Not like Ennis has a stellar resume either. It barely matters who's ranked where because it's so thin. Maybe it will heat up when Haney, Garcia, and Teo move up, although I don't think that highly of any of them. 154 is way stronger right now.

He would get smoked by Vergil and him and his dad bozo know it. Stannois is gonna eff him up. That bakhtyr guy has the same style as stannois he’s just way smaller and way worse of a fighter. Stannois will be landing a lot of leather and he’s not a soft touch like Karen or bakhtyr. Stannois by stoppage or decision

Boxing is fighting. People who like fighting in real life whether with fists or with words are attracted to boxing. It took me a long time to work out why I liked boxing until I realised that I like to argue about everything. First I had to see it in others before I could see it in myself.

Ortiz was supposed to fight Stanionis and fight was cancelled three times. At the time, you didn’t think Stanionis was a bum, did you?
Boots is fighting him for a unification, so if Stanionis was a legit fight for Ortiz, he has to be legit for Boots, no? It’s not like hi stick dropped.

As for the fight, when Boots stops him. Will you cool off on Boots of find another boogeyman for him to beat?
Remember what I said, Boots will have three belts by end of 2025. How many will Ortiz have at 154?

Teofimo? Really? I can understand the Ortiz line but Teo? How?

There's a big difference between arguing and hating. A good argument is based on logic, facts, and style, it's the art of persuasion. Hating doesn't involve any of those elements.

I do get why some people are upset with Ennis tho. Ortiz would have been a bigger challenge than Stanionis, and that's a fact. Staying at 147, Ennis is aiming at the lower-hanging fruit, there's no denying.

I am still looking forward to Ennis vs. Stanionis; it's a pick 'em fight (ignore whatever Breadman Edwards says about Ennis; it's basically Philly love. I do wish he stopped writing about the topic, he can't really offer anything close to an objective analysis when it comes to Ennis).

Ennis vs Stanionis should have happened a long time ago when they were both fighting on the same Showtime stable.

They had 8 months to negotiate from the time Stanionis beat Butaev to WBA ordering Ortiz vs Stan. Eight months they were both available to fight each other. Ennis didn't lift a finger while Ortiz petitioned for it. Stan being promoted by Schaefer at that time never wanted to fight on a GBP card. They didn't have a choice because they've got no offer coming from Showtime, thus Ennis camp.
