Why is it not effective? It was effective enough to break through Winky Wrights guard,it was effective enough to hurt Kelly Pavlik which eventually lead to him dropping Pavlik.
I don't think it really broke through Winky's guard that effectively. Pavlik was hurt with a combination of punches, one of them being an elbow.
The wild right hands are actually part of the reason why he wasn't able to finish Pavlik.
I just see so many flaws in Taylor's game, and not only his stamina, that it's difficult for me to consider him well-schooled. He gets away with a lot due to sheer talent.
yeah agreed on the bold
granted Taylor didn't look nearly as tired in round 12 as say vs Froch
but he still wastes so much energy throwing into Abe's guard
and that glove touching his face thing just looks plain ******
