Come on. If Lomachenko is going to fight I’d rather see him do it against Gervonta Davis than against the winner of Abdullaev-Muratalla.

Pretty simplistic assessment. Loma is a natural featherweight-super featherweight. Ryan Garcia will probably enter the ring as a full-blown MW for his next fight. If Tank Davis or his handlers were so confident of beating Loma, they would have made that fight 3 years ago. At what point does your mind begin to question Tank's drive to live up to his bluster and truly test himself against the best? Even now, at 36 yrs old, Tank wants 2nd tier guys.

Second tier guys from the division below...

That being said, Loma needs to fight or retire. I don't think he's motivated anymore.

Loma should retire. He is out of his weight class and out of his prime. No need to see a faded Loma. Even Terence Crawford is scared to fight those other young 154 pounders and waiting for the Canelo Pay Day.

So, what's this issue that requires medical extensions?

That back issue may be worse than originally announced

If we could only rewind Loma's career 5 years, Davis would’ve ran for the hills!
