I’n sure you’ll have some incredible excuses for Ortiz though.
ducked? He had a life threatening situation that kept him out of the sport for almost 2 years. That said. Even with that time off his resume is miles ahead of bootsy ootsy lol

Ortiz signed the contract to fight Ennis, and Ennis ducked. That’s the bottom line.

Like I said, there is a ready-made excuse for Ortiz but with Boots, the standard is different.

Sure he did AND then he went and fought Dulorme - a guy was KO’d by Boots four years ago. What’s the excuse for fighting Dulorme? If you are fair in your assessment of this, we would not be going back and forth mudslinging both guys.

I’m guessing he’s ducking the ATG Teo as well?

Teo is an overrated headcase for sure but he still would've been the best guy on Boot's resume even at 147, and Boots severely needs names on his resume right now given his career so far.

Bro do you not know what rhabdomylosis is? If any fighter had a condition like that I would Ofc understand they couldn’t fight. Vergil came back at 154 as he couldn’t make the weight safely anymore and fought dulorme for his first fight in 20 months yes. Thats what’s referred to as a “tune up” fight to shake the rust off. Thats bootsys whole career. 31 tune up fights. Like cmon bro dont be daft be reasonable

All I know is when people go to that extra point to defend a fighter then there must be truth to it cause no one would go that far
Boots is a digh , who thinks his chit don’t smell and is looking for easy fights and calling out other fighters until they challenge his bluff

And there goes Boots , just the mention lol

There is no “ready made excuse.”

Ortiz is fighting Israil Madrimov. Boots Ennis ducked Ortiz after Ortiz singed the contract.

My point has been the same from the get-go. Any resume can be dissected and critiqued.
I understand the criticism thrown at Boots and like I said, 2025 is his year of reconning.

I don’t dislike Ortiz and I hate that I have to critique him in that negative way but it’s what you guys are doing with Boots.

Boots is healthy and is at 154, I guess 2025 is the year he shines.
