He’s since fought Bohachuk who’s proven he’s world class and challenged for a title and won off Mendoza who holds a KO win over fundora. And is next lined up to fight Madrimov. These aren’t easy fights. Ortiz is 2 years younger than bootsy and has had 4 world class fights signed he’s not ducking any smoke. Bootsy on the other hand will be 28 in June with 0 world class opponents in his 31 fight career. 0. His belt is an email title and he wants to hang around the weight class the previous champions moved up from so he can pick off bums like barrios. He even ducked teofimo lol. It’s beyond pathetic at this point

Nobody knew who Bohachuk was before he fought Ortiz. So a virtual unknown entity into the sport beats Ortiz bit of course gets robbed of his win is a bigger win than Boots shutout win over Karen.

This logic is so warped that I’m not even sure why we are debating the merits of Ortiz over Boots.

I should have said EVERY American boxer is looking at Saudi Arabia for their biggest paychecks. I misspoke. However, my point about Saudi Arabia still stands to be true.

American promoters cannot pay more than Saudi Arabia. This is the reason everyone is looking to fight in one of the greatest nations on planet earth, Saudi Arabia.

Money was the biggest obstacle when then-world champions Joshua and Wilder failed to agree terms in 2018 or when Fury-Usyk negotiations in London stalled last year.

But money has also provided the solution – with Saudi Arabia splashing enough cash to please all parties.

Fury reportedly earned £78m against Usyk while Joshua is said to have earned a staggering £39m against Ngannou.

The historical LHW unification happened because of Saudi Arabia. When Canelo is demanding $200 million to fight Benavidez, he’looking at Saudi Arabia.

            ———
I will not argue that, but riddle me this, how long before Americans start heading that way?
As for Wilder not making a career payday, it’s because Wilder is no longer relevant.

Why aren’t Fury and Usyk not fighting in the great US? Why didn’t Bivol and Beterbiev fight in the US or Europe?
MONEY! Period! Saudi’s got it and everyone is going.

Better not let Stephen 'Bread Man' Edwards hear you say that. He'll have a fkn fit. Never insult his Lil Bootsie by staring facts.

After refusing Ortiz fight in Saudi and Norman Jr's counter for 2.2mil, Boots better be getting an unification next or he's gonna further add on to his all talk no smoke record.

The question is, Eddie will have to be willing to pay more than 1.7mil to Barrios because there is no fudging way PBC is willing to give up their lucky belt to a guaranteed loss to Boots without a huge overpay.

Virgil Ortiz signed a contract to fight Stanionis and then ducked Stanionis TWICE.
I’n sure you’ll have some incredible excuses for Ortiz though.

Ortiz had health issues and Stanionis also had health issues at one point. That’s why that fight fell through several times.

Ortiz signed the contract to fight Ennis, and Ennis ducked. That’s the bottom line.

                      Ennis also refused Teofimo Lopez.
