Maybe some of the frustration with Boots could be that he's been at welterweight for almost 10 years now man. How much longer do you think he'll be at welterweight before he unifies? Truthfully speaking, if he's as good as I think and many others feel he is, none of the others at 147 should be much of a challenge.

As a fan of Boots I'd like to see him unify, but as a fan of Boxing, I'd like to see how good he really is and see him take on the toughest challenges and the toughest challenges are not at 147, if I'm being honest.

Yeah man... I'm a fan of Boots and I've gotten flack because I've said that Boots would win a tough fought scrap against Virgil. One can base their opinion on the eye test, but the eye test isn't reality, you prove how good you are by taking on the best, not on how good one looks fighting against lesser opponents.

Yeah he fought Oscar , unified and moved up because he did everything he had to do in that division. So your comparison is ******, boots hasn’t accomplished much at 147, so he prefers to unify as opposed to fighting a hyped up prospect that you shamelessly nut swallow. I don’t disagree. My point to the other guy who’s clearly a nutbag, is that I understand a boxer preferring to unify before moving up to fight someone who has never won a single title. I think everyone agrees that while it would be cool to watch them fight now, there clearly is a bigger upside for that fight than being on an undercard of both can accomplish a little bit more. That’s typically how boxing works. If there are two guys with upside but neither is really accomplished much in terms of titles, it takes time to get the fight to a point where it means more than what it would now.
