Exactly! I was living in Vegas at the time when they announced their foray into boxing...claiming boxing will be back on free TV, etc etc. What a fcukin let down

They bought air time on a bunch of different networks and nobody knew who was fighting where, or when they were fighting.

It was terrible. Everyone was used to tuning in on to HBO or Showtime on Saturday nights and that got messed up.

And further irony is that they are still on the "other side of the street" now that they are on Amazon while Matchroom/Queensbury/Top Rank/Golden Boy are all on DAZN.

In a perfect world I wish Turki would've used Amazon Prime or Netflix as his main platform instead of DAZN, as that would've brought all major US/UK promotions on the same
Also, another thing to consider is that Teiken also uses Amazon Prime Japan (although they are more willing to cross promote regardless of platform), so that basically would've covered world wide.

I mean post-ESPN this summer, all rumors point to them joining DAZN along with the rest of the three.

              Nope
They are in talks with Netflix
Netflix is trying to compete with Prime and are willing to get into combat sports hence MVP

Oh, well lets hope that doesn't hinder with Top Rank guys fighting with the DAZN guys.

As someone in Japan right now my preference of platform is Amazon > Netflix >>>>> DAZN for the sake of easy access but hopefully Netflix gets their streaming service up to par in that case.
