Ok, so subtract the legal fees he’s had to pay for everything from trashing a hotel room to getting sued by Haney. Subtract the money he’s surely paying for walking away from his partner like the day after she gave birth to their child. Subtract all the money he’s (allegedly) wasting on other stuff connected to a (supposed) party lifestyle. There’s a reason he’s been trying to fight a guy in Japan, and it’s not because he’s trying to “stay sharp.”

I think Devin can make a comeback if he sets his mind to boxing and focuses on boxing and boxing only... He took Ryan's best shots, kept getting back up and won many of the rounds. That's gotta mentally reassure him somewhat that he can't be kept down..

Tszyu's situation is a bit different because he didn't even make the halfway mark... He also hadn't recovered mentally from the gash on his head. I can't remember what round it was, but there was an accidental clash of heads and he kept checking for blood and getting distracted. It might have been in the first round, can't recall. Tim's a good guy though and I hope he's able to turn it around..

I'm a boxing fan, so I'm a fan of Haney's like I am a fan of Ginger, Bud, Loma, etc....

I am not a fan of what the Haney's are doing outside of the ring, such as the law suit, Devin and his thug pals jumping a guy at a county fair, Bill claiming Devin is the face of boxing and all that non sense. I'm a middle aged man so my favorite fighters are no longer active, but respect and appreciate all who climb up on that ring for my entertainment.

You won't find me hating on any boxer nor riding any boxer's nuts, but you will find me defending or arguing points and opinions. Not because I'm a fan boy, but because I may feel the poster making an argument is incorrect. I could care less about a boxer's ethnicity or nationality and can appreciate a pure boxer, counter puncher, boxer/puncher or flat out brawler...

I think Shakur is an excellent boxer, but wish he was more active with his offense. I love Virgil's come forward style and his attitude, but wish he added a bit more skill to his boxing or ring generalship.

As for Haney, I think he's talented and a good kid, but his out of the ring behavior often rubs me the wrong way. For the most part, I try to give an unbiased opinion and will not argue for the sake of arguing, but if I feel strongly about something I'll try and argue with facts, not with personal emotions.

I understand why Bill gets so much hate, which trickles down on Devin. Some of the S-hit he says is silly and comes out of his rear end, but as a father myself, I can see that he loves his son dearly and tries to look out for Devin's best interest and I respect him for that. The law suit is terrible advice in my opinion, but as I stated, I believe he loves his son dearly...

You won't find me personally attacking folks on here, but I'll definitely challenge their opinion if I disagree. I'm human like you all and will obviously make mistakes and be wrong, but I don't mind apologizing or admitting when I'm wrong.
