I respectfully take your point and we can agree to disagree on some of this as two hardcore boxing fans. But I still say that any boxing writer who would suggest Devin Haney had a worse year than Ryan Garcia is ill-informed, if not just plain dumb.

Also the fact that the Haneys are begging for a rematch is very telling imo

The big dosser Fury is definitely number 1, tried to bully and humiliate Usyk in the build up to there first fight after promoting men’s mental health and then got the ultimate karma and was skipping round the ring like a wild boar on ice. Only to then blame a war on the reason he lost.

Then to then come back for the second fight fooling the public saying he was looking to inflict pain on Usyk only to dance round the ring like a scared rabbit and get pot shotted all night and then his ego in the post fight press conference was unbelievable.

I think Devin can make a comeback if he sets his mind to boxing and focuses on boxing and boxing only... He took Ryan's best shots, kept getting back up and won many of the rounds. That's gotta mentally reassure him somewhat that he can't be kept down..

Tszyu's situation is a bit different because he didn't even make the halfway mark... He also hadn't recovered mentally from the gash on his head. I can't remember what round it was, but there was an accidental clash of heads and he kept checking for blood and getting distracted. It might have been in the first round, can't recall. Tim's a good guy though and I hope he's able to turn it around..

Aussie boxing fan here watching Tszyu have a horror year was hard to stomach he’s such a humble hard working kid that KO loss was bad real bad not sure how he recovers.
