That was me, and not that the fight was off, but that Benavidez threatened to call it off if Morrell didn't get tested.

While I agree that testing is beneficial, it is humorous hearing Benny, of all people, get so up in arms about it now. Sounds to me like he knows he's not going to look very Monsterish against Morrell and wants a built-in excuse prepared when/if he loses. And if Morrell never goes through with getting tested, that excuse will seem above board by his fanbase. If Morrell pops dirty and Benavidez loses, then that's that: Benny lost to a dirty fighter and his "Monster" status remains intact.

I think that's not true. We live in a society nowadays, that you just have to post some chit on social media, and you can be 100% sure it will spread with no end. What I read was that Morrell Jr was ready to go and exhorting haters and non-haters to watch the fight.
