The only threat to Vitali is bad luck....preparation and perspiration will win out a majority of the time and Vitali is ALWAYS fit and ALWAYS prepared. I think Golota has bad shoulder/clavicle problems now from his deadly car wreck and his punches are not sharp enough to keep Vitali off of him....
Respect for Lennox Lewis

NEW! Andrew Golota Interview!
By Scoop Malinowski
Here's the latest from one of the most feared and avoided heavyweights on the planet.
*************.com: What's new Andrew?
Andrew Golota: "Nobody wants to fight me. Even Klitschko said he's not ready for me yet. Ruiz - he doesn't want to either. Nobody want to fight me now. Chris Byrd won't talk to King. He's got his lawyer talking for him."
*************.com: Were you happy with your performance vs. Byrd?
Andrew Golota: "No, I thought I could have done better. But I still feel I won the fight. My left hand wasn't working how it was supposed to, my left hand wasn't as good as it could have been. I was a little not so right, preparation. I was hoping now my conditioning, everything gonna be better. But he doesn't want to fight me."
*************.com: After the fight, Chris Byrd said on ESPN that he could have boxed circles around you all night long, but he chose to fight you on the ropes to give the fans a good show...your comment?
Andrew Golota: "That is bulls---. I fought like that because I kept him there. Did you see the fight again?
*************.com: Yes, twice.
Andrew Golota: "When he bent over from the body shots, he couldn't move. I kept him on the ropes, keep hitting him. He didn't want to stay there. He stayed there because I wanted him to stay there."
*************.com: Byrd wants over $2 million for the rematch. In your opinion, is he pricing himself out of the fight to avoid you? Is the man known for fighting anybody actually ducking you?
Andrew Golota: "He's ducking me BIG TIME! It's bulls--- what he do. It's unfinished business. What kind of champ is he? He lost the fight."
*************.com: Byrd's lawyer wants Byrd to earn over $2 million for the rematch, that's more than triple what he made in April.
Andrew Golota: "He wants his cut! I can fight him for free. I fight him for free anytime. If I was him, I'd ask for $10 million to fight me."
*************.com: How have the fans treated you in public since the Byrd fight?
Andrew Golota: "Fans, people like me. They always like me. This fight much warmer the people talk about me."Comment

Both Golota's comment on Vitali and Vitali taking on all comers can both be true. Klitschko would have considered Golota immediately as an opponent if Andrew was justly awarded the decision against Byrd and more recently if Klitschko was not fighting Williams who suddenly catapulted into the spotlight by beating Tyson. Remember Vitali wants to unify the belts....when Golota beats Ruiz they will get it on.Comment

Jose I think you drink too much tequila feo.....Akinwande clearly knocked Lewis down in round 3 but because it happened while they were crammed together the referee incorrectly thought he had slipped. HBO thought otherwise.Comment

You are the only other person that seems to agree with me about Golota/Lewis!!! I think it was obvious because Golota almost didn't show up for this fight. (I believe because he was being forced to take a dive) and after the fight he fainted and had to be taken to the hospital. (because he was slipped something just to make sure he los.) Of course I could be wrong but that is my opinion!!! That fight was really strange!!!Originally posted by NichtGeflechtenThe ringside physician for the Lewis/Klitschko fight was a guest of PANIX promotions at the Golota/Lewis fight (another fix)...I sat right ****ing next to him. They told Lewis NOT Vitali first that they were stopping the bout that says it all....

You forgot about Briggs punching himself out!!! He was knocking Lewis around the ring like a ragdoll!!!Originally posted by NichtGeflechtenLewis is definitely not a bum but he lost to Mercer, got KO'd by one punch twice, was BADLY outboxed by Bruno until his Hail Mary left, fought a dirty fight against Grant, got knocked down by Akinwande (holding just as much as he was) and ran like a ***** from Vitali to hide behind Corrie Sanders (who he avoided for good reason as Sanders would have smoked him). The proper term is "*****" not "bum".Comment

I knew there was some funny business going on in that fight because Golota looked like he was ****ing high as a kite. This is why I sometime's hate this sport because **** like this never answers the question at hand. If both were normal, no funny business at work, who would defeat the other. Golota dominated Bowe who was of equal value to Lewis as a boxer and Golota got smoked.Comment
