Somehow a world famous Palm Beach orthopedic surgeon screwed up a common skin popping procedure that Golota would usually have done to his bum soccer knee. This jackass injected the lidocaine into his femoral artery! He later paid Golota $930,000 in an out-of-court settlement. Lewis knew that Golota was deranged...Golota passed out twice with Lewis' representative present during the hand wrapping!Comment

Yeah and interestingly enough Roy Jones was in a very similar position as Lennox after his loss to Tarver. Both one punch KO victims, and both aging champions beaten and counted out. Being knocked out by one punch is a tremendous thing to get over mentally. You realize that in the rematch the man in front of you could beat you in an instant. And too put on a masterpiece like Lennox did against Rahman was truly remarkable, even moreso when you look at the age and the fact many questioned his desire to continue.
My point is fairly or not fighters that can't comeback from a loss in their career will take a hit in how they are placed in history. The fact Lewis was able to do that is a real feather in his cap. Roy Jones on the other hand will not be able to do that, in his comeback fight he lost by another brutal KO to an even lesser talent than his previous conqueror(Tarver) and if he's smart will retire. Some will say that Roy lacked the heart to comeback like Lennox did and claim that perhaps he was always a front runner. That maybe the case and that will be a criticsm many will have, I asure you.
There maybe some truth to that claim, but one thing is certain Roy Jones reign as PFP king was long and at the same time unevenful. Often called reluctant to take on the very best and test his great abilities in deeper water. Always taking only calculated risks. And in the end it all caught up to him. His fall was quick, shocking and brutal and his long delusional fans will no longer claim him to be the best of all time pfp and his critics will be aplenty as question everything from his realatively weak opposition to his chin, to his heart. Definetly not the ending Roy wanted.Comment

Did anyone see Lewis vs. McCall 2? It was horrible. They took McCall out of rehab for ******* to train. During the fight at the end of one of the rounds, rather than go back to his corner, McCall walked around the ring crying. He didn't want to fight anymore and his corner sent him out for another round anyways. He wouldn't fight back and Lewis swung on him and still couldn't hurt him. The ref stopped it and Lewis put his arms up like he did something great.Comment
