Yes it was quite possibly the oddest thing I have ever seen a fighter do during a boxing match. All that entertainment and he didn't even get paid. If he didn't want to fight he just have taken a punch from Lewis and dove into the ropes Fabio Moli style.

Did anyone see Lewis vs. McCall 2? It was horrible. They took McCall out of rehab for ******* to train. During the fight at the end of one of the rounds, rather than go back to his corner, McCall walked around the ring crying. He didn't want to fight anymore and his corner sent him out for another round anyways. He wouldn't fight back and Lewis swung on him and still couldn't hurt him. The ref stopped it and Lewis put his arms up like he did something great.

when he did that the ref asked him if he wanted to continue..he said no then went and sat in his corner and his men were screaming at him dont do this to yourself dont do it...then the ref asked again if he wanted to fight and he said yes...

he was ****ed and the aftermath showed that..he ranted for more than 30 minutes.

AND he got beat by frank bruno.....and while were talking about againg fighters i noticed tim witherspoon was in action recently

Lewis in the HW division was a god period, and would KO Vitali no matter how many times they fought, so deal with it.

Lewis is definitely not a bum but he lost to Mercer, got KO'd by one punch twice, was BADLY outboxed by Bruno until his Hail Mary left, fought a dirty fight against Grant, got knocked down by Akinwande (holding just as much as he was) and ran like a ***** from Vitali to hide behind Corrie Sanders (who he avoided for good reason as Sanders would have smoked him). The proper term is "*****" not "bum".

Somehow a world famous Palm Beach orthopedic surgeon screwed up a common skin popping procedure that Golota would usually have done to his bum soccer knee. This jackass injected the lidocaine into his femoral artery! He later paid Golota $930,000 in an out-of-court settlement. Lewis knew that Golota was deranged...Golota passed out twice with Lewis' representative present during the hand wrapping!

Then why the **** did they allow Golota to fight if he passed out twice. I never heard of the out of court settlement. Golota's corner should have known that he was in no way shape or form to fight but they allowd him to fight anyway? I find that a bit hard to believe. I heard that they were searching for Golota up to about a half hour before he was scheduled to fight. He supposedly was wandering the area where the fight took place.

You can't even think of one good reason why they didn't cancel the LEWIS/GOLOTA fight? How about this one: MILLLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF LONG TERM LITIGATION. Lou Duva is an A1 scumbag when he needs to be (ask Rusty Rosenberger)...I know from personal experience. Golota got $930,000 from the orthopedic surgeon whose first name starts with "S" & last name starts with "K" and he is from the Palm Beaches area of Florida. There was an NDA so that is all I will say but it's not too hard to let your fingers do the typing if you know what I mean.

Yes the referee called it a slip but it was a CLEAR knockdown even Merchant commented on it.
