That "Usyk has nothing left to prove" is nonsense. He's proved a great deal, but if he knocks off the list above and then any young guns that break out he'll climb the ladder of ATGs. Ali is a pretty high bar, but who knows.

I think he will fight 2 or 3 more fights in 2025. He can fight the winner of the Parker v Dubois fight to get the IBF belt back and become undisputed champion again. And defend the belts against someone like Zhang, Martin, or Agit. After that he can either move down in weight to fight Jai or retire.

Haha Wilder vs Usyk is no different from an Usyk heavy bag workout.

Become undisputed again against DuBois-Parker winner. Than set up a easy touch fight as close to Ukraine as they can get it for one fight as undisputed. Call it a career.

(Completely side note... has anyone noticed every time someone fights Joe Parker these days as a presumed favorite, Parker finds a way to win? Starting to get that gut feeling.)

There is zero chance Fury hangs it up anytime soon. He will be driven by anger and insecurities to fight enough in the next couple years to "prove" these two losses were shames and that he actually won because he beat other people. Get ready for it. It will be entertaining.

Usyk can't retire until he gives Canelo a shot at glory...

Canelo vs Beterbiev-Bivol II winner, then Usyk....

then Canelo can retire as the greatest of his generation

Usyk should retire and go out on top.

Fury should fight AJ and maybe Dubois then retire.

Of course usyk has more to do. He needs to prove he can best the man who stopped him.in sparring bakole, zhang, parker, ajit kabayel. He could retire now unbeaten and that's great and all. But to be GOAT is another step up, which can only be achieved by who's who of wins at heavyweight
Then he's GOAT..He can even lose one of them, but try win rematch.

Greatness is continuing even as the odds of losing increase with each passing fight.
There's also loads of money to be made.
I think they should both continue unless their hearts aren't in it anymore but I think both are relentless warriors, especially Usyk.
Fury might want to quit the fighting game so he can lay around getting fatter and drunk, but I think he'll become more angry and want to prove he's still up there with the very best.

In my humble opinion there is no upside for Usyk in terms of his legacy. In 10 years time nobody is going to care if he beats Zhang, Bakole, Kabayel or Itauma or anybody else. None of them have a name in terms of historical significance. On the other hand if he continues to fight for another 2 to 3 years he will only get old in the ring and somebody will wipe him out guaranteed because everybody gets old. So retiring now he goes out undefeated with two big bags on money as an absolute legend. If he fights on to make a few more bucks which he dies not need he will he knocked out by a young gun and the history will be rewritten about how good he really was.
