  • Comments Thread For: Oleksandr Usyk did enough to close the book on his Tyson Fury rivalry

Saturday marked another relatively narrow win for Oleksandr Usyk over Tyson Fury at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia perhaps even tighter than Usyks first win over Fury.

It was a clear win for Usyk in my opinion.

Yes. It’s over. No more Fury. No more Wilder. No more Joshua. Turn the freakin page. Get these geezers off to the glue factory and let the kids take the wheel

Sure. Just know that this list includes Usyk who is even older than some of those guys, and the next generation has not shown any potential to have a star close to any of those HW's. So be careful what you wish for.

Fury had 2 fights with Usyk and loss both of them. He fought the wrong style against Usyk. This rivalry is over. Fury is now at the contender status. He is a good but not great fighter. Usyk is a great fighter.

Thank goodness we're finally done with Fury's antics and holding the division hostage with no big fights for years while he ducks and has to be taken to court, etc. He will go down in history as a second best footnote to the real Heavyweight great of the era.

More than enough. Complete physical and emotional domination, he effectively ended Fury's career as a top prize fighter. He has an AJ cash out, and that's it.

                    Yep, we all saw it.
The UD was clarity, not charity.
Can we now, finally, stop talking about Fury?
